Heather Coppard

ADCHyp, GQHP, MSc Management Practice, BSc Professional Nursing Studies, Diploma Community Health Studies (Health visiting), Diploma in Adult Nursing.

I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist and mindfulness practitioner dedicated to supporting all aspects of female health.

With over 30 years working in healthcare as a Nurse, Health visitor and Hypnotherapist, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to my practice. As a woman I am passionate about working with other women to enable you to develop strategies and techniques to support you during the different phases in your life. Utilising evidence based mind body techniques allow you to build your own resources and take a pro active and holistic approach to your care.

I have a particular professional interest in female health issues and have enhanced hypnotherapy training in fertility, menopause and hypnobirthing. I have established working links with St Marys Womens Hospital in Manchester, where I co-created and chair a female pelvic pain support group (MVSN). In my clinic I regularly see patients with gynaecological issues including vulvodynia, lichen sclerosis, pudendal neuralgia, pelvic floor dysfunction, endometriosis, menstrual issues, pregnancy loss, menopause and fertility. I am also a registered specialist Hypnotherapist in chronic pain management and Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Get in touch for a free no obligation telephone consultion, to see how hypnotherapy and mindfulness could help you.

Female Health Hypnotherapy works in close partnership with Manchester Vulval Support Network (MVSN).

Heather is a keen advocate of female health, and also chairs a voluntary vulval support group called MVSN.

MVSN aims to provide a forum for women with vulval conditions to share helpful advice, enjoy informative talks from a range of speakers and create a local network for patients and professionals to share best practice....
